Vernon is the director of the men's facility at 701 South 75th Street. Vernon was born and raised in Texas. He moved to Omaha in 1993 once he graduated from high school. In 2011, he decided to give back by becoming a foster parent to four beautiful children and in the end he ended up adopting. Vernon understands the struggle of mental and behavioral health issues. He believes in being a strong support system in helping others achieve a life worth living.
Residents at GHH are challenged to take a difficult journey and discover the hidden treasures within themselves. They can be set free from generational, social, emotional, mental, and physical bondages that has held them down for so long. The journey is difficult and takes courage to maintain. Allowing the women to explore and discover their personal value and self worth as an individual.

AND MORE
Georgia's House of Hope stands against bullying. We will be working with the community and schools to bring awareness. Our quest is to kindle a haven of safety, positivity, wellness, care, and veneration. A realm where the young may flourish and prosper, embracing the fullness of their potential.
For not all scars dwell on the surface. Some wounds are hidden away. We take up the responsibility to tend to those who bear the weight of bullying's burden. Our solemn vow is to offer solace to the afflicted, with hearts open to their tales of woe. With the utmost discretion, we bring understanding and compassion, offering a sanctuary of healing to those in need.
The Pledge to End Bullying
I pledge to take a stand against bullying. Everybody has the right to be in an environment where they feel safe, protected, valued, and accepted regardless of their differences. I promise to stop and help those who are being bullied. I will have the compassion to not condone nor be a bully.
